Elmar Tannert

Elmar Tannert was born in Munich in 1964. He studied musicology and Romance studies and worked as a writer and as a translator from Czech and French. From 2003 onward, he worked as a freelance writer and, among other roles, for Bavarian Broadcasting. His novels include “Der Stadtvermesser” (1998), “Keine Nacht, kein Ort” (2002), “Ausgeliefert” (2005), and “Ein Satz an Herrn Müller” (2017). Together with Petra Nacke, he also wrote “Rache, Engel!” (2008), “Blaulicht” (2010), and “Der Mittagsmörder” (2012).
