Ella Danz

Ella Danz was born and raised in Coburg in Upper Franconia. After studying journalism and communications, she spent many years involved in managing an environmentally oriented company before working as a freelance author. She became best known for her crime series featuring Georg Angermüller, a gourmet detective based in Lübeck who investigates both crime and bad food. Her works include “Schatz, schmeckt’s dir nicht?”, “Ballaststoff” and “Rosenwahn”. Cooking and food play an important role in her books, which also examine human behaviour and relationships with a keen eye and a touch of irony.
