Elizabeth Linington

Elizabeth Linington (1921–1988) was an American crime writer. She published most of her novels under pseudonyms, particularly as Dell Shannon. Under that name, she wrote, among other works, a series about Lieutenant Luis Mendoza of the Los Angeles Police Department. As Lesley Egan, she also created series featuring suburban police officer Vic Varallo and attorney Jesse Falkenstein.
