Elisa Shua Dusapin

Elisa Shua Dusapin was born in 1992 in Sarlat-la-Canéda, France, to a French father and a South Korean mother. She grew up between Paris, Seoul and Porrentruy in Switzerland, and studied at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel. Her debut novel, “Winter in Sokcho,” received several awards, including the Robert Walser Prize and the National Book Award for Translated Literature. The novel was adapted for film and shown at numerous festivals. Dusapin has published four novels, which have been translated into more than 35 languages.
