Elena Medel

Elena Medel (born 1985) is a Spanish writer and poet. In 2004, she founded the independent poetry press La Bella Varsovia. She has published three poetry collections and two essay collections. Her debut novel, The Wonders (2020), won the Premio Francisco Umbral, making her the first woman to receive the award.
