Elad Lapidot, born in Jerusalem in 1976, is a scholar of philosophy of religion and Jewish studies. His academic work includes a position as a Privatdozent at the University of Bern; he has also taught at Humboldt University of Berlin. His research focuses on political epistemology in contemporary philosophy and on the Talmudic intellectual tradition. With Micha Brumlik, he edited „Heidegger and Jewish Thought. Difficult Others“. He also produced the first Hebrew translation of Hegel’s „Phenomenology of Spirit“.
