Edward B. Gordon

Edward B. Gordon (born 1966 in Hanover) is a German painter. In November 2006, he launched the blog “A Painting a Day,” for which he painted one picture each day; more than 2,800 daily paintings were created in the project. He found subjects for his paintings while walking through Berlin, with light serving as a central source of inspiration. Gordon’s work has appeared on the covers of German and international newspapers, in magazines, and on more than 20 book covers. His painting “Blue Graffiti” was created exclusively for the cover of Maja Lunde’s young-adult novel “Battle”.
