Eddie Jaku

Eddie Jaku was born in Leipzig. As a Jewish man, he was deported to Buchenwald in 1938 and later to Auschwitz; he survived the Holocaust, while his parents were murdered. He emigrated to Australia in the 1950s. Eddie Jaku died in 2021 surrounded by his family.
