Dieter Nuhr

Dieter Nuhr is a cabaret artist, comedian, presenter, author and artist. He studied art and history and began touring Germany with solo programs in 1994. He became known to a broad television audience through programs including “Nuhr im Ersten,” “Nuhr ab 18” and annual review shows. Nuhr received numerous awards, including the German Cabaret Prize in the cabaret category and the German Comedy Prize; he is described as the only artist to have won both. Alongside his stage and television work, he pursued conceptual photography.
