Deborah Harkness

Deborah Harkness is a historian and author. She taught European history as a professor at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and received several fellowships and awards for her scholarly work. She is internationally known for her All Souls series, whose first novel, A Discovery of Witches, was adapted for television. Her other novels include The Blackbird Oracle.
