David Nicholls

David Nicholls, born in 1966, trained as an actor before turning to writing. He achieved an international breakthrough with his novel »Zwei an einem Tag« (»One Day«). His other novels include »Drei auf Reisen«, which was nominated for the Man Booker Prize in 2014. As a screenwriter, Nicholls adapted Edward St Aubyn’s novels for the television series »Patrick Melrose«, earning a BAFTA and an Emmy nomination.
