David McCloskey

David McCloskey worked as a CIA analyst and as a consultant at McKinsey. During his time with the CIA, he contributed to briefings for the U.S. president, testified before congressional oversight committees, and briefed White House staff, ambassadors, generals, and members of Arab royal families. He also held several posts at U.S. embassies in the Middle East. At McKinsey, he advised clients in the aviation and transportation sectors on national security matters. McCloskey earned a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, focusing on energy policy and the Middle East. He is the author of the novels Damascus Station and Moscow X, described by the publisher as international bestsellers.
