David Garrett began violin lessons at the age of four and made his orchestral debut at ten. At 13, he became the youngest artist to be signed by Deutsche Grammophon. As a soloist, he performed major violin concertos with renowned conductors and orchestras. In his early twenties, he studied at the Juilliard School in New York, where he developed his crossover style, combining classical melodies with rock and pop elements. His recorded and concert achievements include more than 1,600 performances worldwide, over 4.5 million albums sold, and numerous gold and platinum awards.
