Daniela Schreiter, born in Berlin in the 1980s, is an illustrator and comic artist. She drew her first comic at the age of four and has worked in the field since studying. As an autistic woman, she explores personal experiences of autism and perception in her comics. She became known for her 2014 graphic novel “Schattenspringer – Wie es ist, anders zu sein” and its sequels. Her other works include “Autistic-Hero-Girl,” the children’s comic series “Lisa und Lio,” and “Fabulöse Fakten,” a collection of science-themed comic strips. In 2022, “Lisa und Lio” received the Max and Moritz Audience Award.
