Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith is a British author and researcher. He has written more than 30 nonfiction books on a wide range of subjects, including Sherlock Holmes, Steve Jobs, political scandals, and the British “Dig for Victory” campaign during the Second World War. His works include *Thinking Like Sherlock*, *Quiz Your Knowledge: Education to Doodle* and *The Sherlock Holmes Companion: An Elementary Guide*. His books have been translated into 25 languages. Smith has also worked as a screenwriter and was an editor of *The Statesman’s Yearbook*, an annual geopolitical reference work, for more than 20 years.
