Cristina Nord worked as a film editor in the culture section of the German newspaper taz. die tageszeitung and taught film criticism at Freie Universität Berlin. She also curated film programmes, including the 2014 thematic series “Krieg erzählen” at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. In 2013, she received the Siegfried Kracauer Prize for Best Film Criticism.
