Cornelia Voigt studied art and English at RWTH Aachen University. After ten years as an art teacher, she headed the creative department of a medium-sized fashion company for several years. She also trained as a systemic coach and worked as a Business English lecturer and coach. Her interests and activities included travel, photography, painting, and writing stories for children. She also created larger-than-life iron sculptures.
