Corinna Harfouch (born 1954 in Thuringia) is a German actress known for her work in theater, film, and television. She established herself as a stage and screen actress in East Germany. After German reunification, she attracted attention through, among other things, productions directed by Frank Castorf and award-winning television films. Her notable films include “Solo for Clarinet,” “Downfall,” “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer,” and “Elementarteilchen.” Her portrayal of Magda Goebbels in “Downfall” drew particular attention. Harfouch has received, among other honors, the German Film Award, the Grimme Award, and the Golden Camera; in 2024, she won the German Film Award for her performance in “Dying.”
