Clare Chambers

Clare Chambers was born in London in 1966. She taught English literature in Oxford before working for publisher Diana Athill, first as a secretary and later as an editor. After a ten-year writing break, her novel “Kleine Freuden” became a word-of-mouth surprise bestseller. Chambers has published eight novels.
