Christophe Galfard

Christophe Galfard (born 1976) is a French astrophysicist and nonfiction author. He graduated in theoretical physics from École Centrale Paris in 1999 and earned his doctorate in Cambridge under Stephen Hawking. His research has focused on black holes and the origins of the universe, including the black hole information paradox. He co-authored a children’s book with Hawking. His books published in German include The Universe in Your Hand and E=mc²: A Very Short Introduction to the Theory of Relativity.
