Christoph Wetzel

Christoph Wetzel (born 1944) is an art historian and nonfiction author. He studied art, art history, German studies and history at the art academies in Stuttgart, Munich and Vienna, and at the universities of Munich, Vienna and Konstanz. He worked as an art teacher, publishing editor and editor, and wrote numerous books on art and literary history, including monographs on Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, nudes in art and illuminated manuscripts, as well as The Reclam Book of Art.
