Christoph Marx

Christoph Marx (born 1957) is a historian who was Professor of Non-European History at the University of Duisburg-Essen. His research focused on African history. His publications include *History of Africa: From 1800 to the Present* (2004), *South Africa: History and the Present* (2012), *Mugabe: An African Tyrant* (2017), and *Separation and Fear: Hendrik Verwoerd and the Worldview of Apartheid* (2020).
