Christine Westermann

Christine Westermann, born in 1948, is a German journalist, presenter, and book critic. She became known for book recommendations in Stern, radio contributions including for WDR, and columns in Buchjournal. On television, she was a member of Das literarische Quartett and co-hosted the program Zimmer frei with Götz Alsmann. For Zimmer frei, she received, among other honors, the Adolf Grimme Award. Her television career began with the ZDF program Drehscheibe; she later presented Aktuelle Stunde.
