Christian Koch

Christian Koch, born in 1951, began writing songs and texts in the early 1970s and later added short stories. His writing was incorporated into musical-literary programs and performed by rock and blues bands. In 1984, the song “Der Blaue Würger,” regarded as part of the musical heritage of the GDR, was created within the singer-songwriter duo “Otto & Alwin.” Koch published non-musical texts and short stories in works including “Der Mond im Schlafrock” and other moon stories. Together with the musical duo “Double fou,” he also released texts and songs under the title “Mit Martini in der Badewanne.” His work “Mattmanns Blues” presents his songs in narrative form.
