Christian Alt

Christian Alt (born 1988) studied German and philosophy at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. From 2010 onward, he wrote for various media about pop and internet culture; he later worked as a radio and podcast writer, including for Bayerischer Rundfunk and its cultural program “Zündfunk.” Alt is one of the founders of the podcast production company Kugel und Niere. Together with Christian Schiffer, he published “Angela Merkel ist Hitlers Tochter. Im Land der Verschwörungstheorien” (2018) and “Die Wahrheit ist (n)irgendwo da draußen. Was der neue Ufo-Hype über uns Menschen verrät.” His work has received the Robert Geisendörfer Prize and the Education Prize of the Telekom Foundation.
