Charlotte Roche

Charlotte Roche was born in 1978 in High Wycombe, England, and grew up in Germany. She worked as a television presenter for broadcasters including VIVA, 3sat, ARTE, and ZDF, and received the Grimme Award and the Bavarian Television Award. In 2008, she published her debut novel, Feuchtgebiete, which sparked public debate and became a bestseller. It was followed by Schoßgebete (2011) and Mädchen für alles (2015).
