Charlotte Jacobi

Charlotte Jacobi is the joint pseudonym of German authors Eva-Maria Bast (born 1978) and Jørn Precht (born 1967). Bast worked as a journalist, headed Bast Medien GmbH, and wrote nonfiction, crime fiction and contemporary historical novels. Her work received several awards, including the German Local Journalism Prize from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in the history category. Precht studied at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg, worked as a screenwriter for film and television productions, and taught at various universities.
