Catherine Raven

Catherine Raven is an author and biologist. She worked as a ranger in Glacier, Mount Rainier, and Voyageurs National Parks, among others, and later earned a doctorate in biology from Montana State University. She subsequently led expeditions, including through Yellowstone National Park, and published natural history essays in American Scientist as well as a book on forestry. An early version of her book Fox and I won first place at the Montana Festival of the Book.
