Caspar Tobias Schlenk attended the Cologne School of Journalism and studied economics alongside his journalism training. He worked as an editor at the online magazine Gründerszene and previously as a freelance writer for publications including Die Zeit, Wirtschaftswoche, and Handelsblatt.
