Carmen Urbita

Carmen Urbita is a Hispanist. She studied Comparative Literature at King’s College London and Modern Languages at the University of Oxford, where she completed her master’s degree with distinction. She received her PhD from Brown University in 2025. In 2020, she co-founded the podcast Las hijas de Felipe with Ana Garriga; the podcast explores unconventional nuns, convents, and extraordinary women’s lives in the Baroque period.
