Cal Flyn

Cal Flyn grew up in the Scottish Highlands and worked as an essayist and critic, contributing to publications including Granta, The Guardian and The Wall Street Journal. Her first book, “Thicker than Water,” attracted considerable attention. “Islands of Abandonment” received numerous awards. In 2022, she was named Young Writer of the Year.
