Britta Ringer

Britta Ringer (born 1985) studied Baltic and Slavic studies in Greifswald and Riga. She worked as a freelance translator, translating Latvian children’s books and short stories into German. The authors whose works she translated include Uldis Daugaviņš, Inga Žolūde, Luīze Pastore, Juris Zvirgzdiņš and Māra Cielēna. For KLAK Verlag, she also translated Baiba Zile’s novel “Master of Lies” into German.
