Boris Savinkov (1879–1925) was a Russian revolutionary, writer, and poet. Initially active as a terrorist, he became deputy minister of war under Alexander Kerensky during the Russian Revolution. He later turned decisively against the Bolsheviks and was lured back to Russia and arrested in 1924. He died in 1925 after a fall from prison.
