Bettina Reimann was born in Hanover in 1964. After studying economics, she turned to regional journalism and worked as a magazine journalist for more than three decades. Since 2022, she has also published crime novels and nonfiction. Her first crime novel, “Aller-Wolf,” was published by Gmeiner in 2022 and began the series featuring the three-generation Blume-Kamphusen detective family; “Spargel-Geheimnis im Allertal” followed in 2023. In 2013, Reimann initiated the live crime festival “KriminaLa” in Langenhagen, which was held three times. Her personal interests, including geocaching, genealogy, and exploring abandoned places, are reflected in her crime novels.
