Ben Pastor

Ben Pastor was born in Rome in 1950 and studied archaeology there. She later taught at several universities in the United States, including institutions in Ohio, Illinois, and Vermont. She is known for historical novels set in ancient Rome and during the Second World War. In 2018, she received the Premio Internazionale Speciale Flaiano per la Letteratura; in 2020, she was nominated for the Premio Emilio Salgari di Letteratura Avventurosa.
