Barbara Wernsing

Barbara Wernsing was born and raised in Münster, Germany. After studying geodesy in Berlin, she worked at a planetarium, where she also wrote her first program for children. Her first children’s book likewise focused on the stars. She went on to write more than 90 nonfiction books and stories for children, particularly on nature and technology.
