Barbara Krohn

Barbara Krohn, born in Hamburg in 1957, studied German and Italian. She then taught German language and literature for four years at the University of Naples. From 1992 onward, she worked as a writer, literary translator and creative-writing instructor. Her publications include poetry, short stories, novels, crime fiction and literary essays. Her debut crime novel, “Der Tote unter der Piazza” (1998), along with “Weg vom Fenster” (1999) and the short crime story “Totentanz in Regensburg” (2013), was nominated for the Friedrich Glauser Prize. “Rosas Rückkehr” was adapted for television by ZDF under the title “Der Tote am Strand”.
