Barbara Bleisch

Barbara Bleisch (born 1973) is a philosopher and author. She worked for more than ten years at the Centre for Ethics at the University of Zurich, where she also headed the Advanced Studies in Applied Ethics. From 2010 onward, she hosted the philosophy programme “Sternstunde Philosophie” on Swiss Radio and Television SRF. From 2017 to 2019, she was an academic guest at the Collegium Helveticum of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. Her books include “Warum wir unseren Eltern nichts schulden” (2018), “Kinder wollen. Über Autonomie und Verantwortung” (2020), and “Mitte des Lebens. Eine Philosophie der besten Jahre” (2024).
