Arun Gandhi

Arun Manilal Gandhi (1934–2023) was an Indian-American journalist and the fifth grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. He grew up in South Africa and lived with his grandfather at the Sevagram Ashram in India from 1946 to 1948. For around 30 years, he worked for the Times of India and also wrote for the Washington Post. Gandhi served as president of the Gandhi Worldwide Education Institute. His books include *Anger Is a Gift: The Legacy of My Grandfather Mahatma Gandhi* (2018) and *Gentleness Can Shake the World* (2019).
