Arthur Doyle

Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle was a British physician and writer. He became famous for the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson. Another notable character is Professor Challenger, who appears in his novel *The Lost World*. The character served as the basis for numerous films and a multi-part television series.
