Ariel Levy

Ariel Levy was born in 1974 in Larchmont, New York. She worked as a journalist for the cultural magazine The New Yorker, where she had been employed since 2008. In 2014, she received the National Magazine Award for Essays and Criticism for her reportage “Thanksgiving in Mongolia.” Her books include “Gegen alle Regeln: Eine Geschichte von Liebe und Verlust”; the reportage “Thanksgiving in Mongolia” formed the basis for this personal work.
