Arhan Kardas

Arhan Kardas, born in 1974, studied law, philosophy and history at Ankara, Bilkent and Gazi universities, and completed a master’s degree in law at the University of Vienna. From 2002 to 2008, he served as director of the Friede Institute for Dialogue in Vienna. In 2019, he received his doctorate from the University of Nuremberg-Erlangen under the supervision of Professor Mathias Rohe. Between 2016 and 2020, he taught Jewish Studies and religious studies at the University of Potsdam and at Respect Graduate School in Bethlehem, USA. He also worked as an adviser on Islam for the Akademikerbund Hamburg.
