Annika Strauss, born in 1984, studied General Rhetoric and German Studies in Tübingen and attended an acting school in Stuttgart. As an actor, she appeared in more than thirty film productions, many of them in the horror genre, earning her the nickname “German Screamqueen.” She also wrote screenplays and worked as an editor for the German broadcaster SWR. Her thriller debut, Nachtfahrt, was published in 2024.
