Annika Klee

Annika Klee is the pen name of author Annika Kemmeter, born in Mainz in 1985. She studied literary studies, psychology and French in Munich, Paris and Fukuoka. Kemmeter writes literary fiction under her real name and books for children and young adults as Annika Klee. Her debut novel, “Die letzte Flaschenpost,” was published in 2020. Under the name Annika Klee, she has published works including the fairy-tale adaptation “Verhext und wachgeküsst” and the children’s books “Das wunderbarste Wesen der Welt” and “Zwei Mädchen im Glück.” In 2021, she won first prize in the Short-Short-Story category of the Stockstadt Literature Prize.
