Anna Karger-Kroll was born in 1985 in Ozimek, Poland. She studied to teach at secondary schools in Bamberg. Her academic career included work as a research assistant at the University of Bamberg (2011–2013), a doctoral scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (2013–2016), and a position as a research assistant and representative for theological ethics at the Chair of Systematic Theology at the University of Siegen.
