Anna Jansson (born 1958 on Gotland) is a Swedish writer. She is best known for her crime series featuring Detective Maria Wern, set on Gotland and adapted for television. Over a career spanning more than twenty years, Jansson has published more than 60 books. Her works have been translated into 17 languages. Another crime series follows investigator Kristoffer Bark as he solves cold cases in Örebro. Anna Jansson has three adult children.
