Angelika Waldis

Angelika Waldis, born in Lucerne, Switzerland, in 1940, studied English and German literature for several semesters at the University of Zurich. She subsequently worked as a journalist and, together with her husband, Otmar Bucher, founded the award-winning youth magazine Spick. She later published novels and short stories for adults, which received several awards. Her novel Ich komme mit was named the favorite book of German-speaking Swiss booksellers in 2019 and received the ZKB Schiller Prize.
