Angelika Hilbeck is an agricultural biologist. From 2000 onward, she conducted research and taught at the Institute of Integrative Biology at ETH Zurich. Her fields of work include environmental risk assessment, the ecological biosafety of genetically modified crops, and farmer-participatory agroecological research. She was a member of the Association of German Scientists (VDW).
