Andreas Speit (born 1966) is a journalist and author. He holds a degree in social economics and has worked as a freelance journalist and writer, contributing among others to the taz, Freitag, Blick nach rechts and jungle world. Speit has written and edited several books on right-wing extremism, including Ästhetische Mobilmachung, Ronald Schill – Der Rechtssprecher and, with Martin Langebach, Europas radikale Rechte. His journalistic work has received several awards, including recognition from the German publication Medium Magazin and the German Journalists’ Association.
