Dr Andreas Holzer is a musicologist who worked as a member of the interdisciplinary special research area “Modernism – Vienna and Central Europe around 1900” at the University of Graz. His research focuses on Austrian musical life in the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as on the history of composition in the 20th and 21st centuries. His publications include studies of composers such as Joseph Marx and Arnold Schoenberg, along with contributions on music theory. His book “Zur Kategorie der Form in neuer Musik” was published in 2011.
